I've recieved an email from Cygnet Orange Swirl telling me that "DeadbyDawn' among others found a code in the butterfly picture Steph emailed out. The key for the code was heart, the poem she posted was a clue.
here's the message
"GOING TO MEET SWAN IN LITTLE ASHDEN MEANT TO KEEP IT SECRET BUT JUST IN CASE HIDDEN THIS MESSAGE WHILE I'M GONE"
As far as I know she still isn't back. Suprisingly Little Ashden is actually very close to where I live, which makes me wonder if Steph was actually nearby all along as well, I never thought to ask.
Anyway it's evening here now (7PM) but I'll make my way over there first thing tomorrrow morning and see if I can find any information such as where SWAN is based and if Steph is OK.

Wait, Alex, before you plan a trip to Ashden...
If SWAN is a malevolent organization and if it has taken Stephanie it might do the same to you. If this happens, we will have no way of knowing what happened to you or where you are. We need a location for Ashden (a map, if you've got one), and we need to know exactly where you plan on going within Ashden. Also, is there a phone number at which we can contact you? Will you have your computer with you so that you can keep us posted about what is going on?
